Client Information
A client may be either an individual or a company from a bookkeeping system, a prospect investor (or company) or an off book investor (or company). Depending on the nature of the client, the stored information varies. Displayed fields highlighted in red below can be edited. As a rule, information that comes from a bookkeeping system cannot be changed.

Viewing Client Information
The client information can be accessed from any page of the client file by clicking on the client name hyperlink
Updating Client Information
To update any field that can be modified:

Update the information, and then click on the
button
Below is an explanation for each field than can be edited
Client name and preferred language
- Editing the client name will override the BKS provided name for all client reports and views
- Choosing the client preferred language will automatically allow the creation of reports in the client preferred language

Contact information
- You can add additional contact phone numbers and extensions as well an e-mail address for your client:

Note: If you have given online access to your client, he will be able to access the contents of his client file
Investor Profile
- You can manually assign an investor profile to your client:

Investor Internal codification - CRM
- This functionality allows you to create a new group of client portfolios based on common interest or purpose, or to add a client to an existing group:

Client favorite Benchmarks
- You can assign up to three favorite benchmarks to your client:
These benchmarks can be added to all of the client’s performance reports.
Trade restrictions – Do not buy
If your client does not want any position in a specific security (es), you can build a do not buy trade restriction list as follows:
- Once a security(es) is added to the restricted list, it will show as follows:

Account Information
You can retrieve account specific information in the Account Information pop-up. It can be accessed by clicking on the
icon, in the account’s tab
, once the account is selected:

Just like in the Client information window, you can edit some of the information relating to the account as well as perform other actions
Account name
- Editing the account name will override the BKS provided name for all account reports and views:

Account inception date
- You can edit an account inception date – this can be useful in case data imported from another firm is inaccurate:

Outflows projections
- You can anticipate a client cash flow needs by entering his expected cash withdrawals:

- Once the cash withdrawals are saved, they will update the client’s Income projection reports to take the withdrawals into account:

Know your Client
- You can edit your client regulatory KYC to reflect changes in his circumstances, or after a periodic review by clicking on the
button:
